Hüsna Yıldırım was born in Niğde. She graduated from Niğde Anatolian High School. In 2010 she received her BA from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Letters, Department of English Linguistics. Between 2008-2009 she studied within the scope of Erasmus Programme for two semesters and had an experience for studying English-Spanish translations at Cadiz University in Spain. Also she got Pedagogical Formation Certificate from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Education. After graduation she taught General English for all levels in a well-known private language school in Istanbul. In 2012 she started working as an English instructor in Foreign Languages Department at Üsküdar University where she has been teaching Medical English, Professional English, English for Academic Purposes, English for Specific Purposes, Reading and Writing Skills and designed materials and curriculum for these courses in Faculty programmes. She has been still working as Modern Languages Coordinator and the head of Distance Education English Courses since 2014. Besides, she still continues with her MA studies in Institute of Health Sciences, Healthcare Management at Üsküdar University.
