Hatice Yıldız BURKOVİK

Born in İstanbul, 1962.

She completed primary school education in Osmangazi Primary School between 1968-1972, secondary school and high school education in Kadıköy Girls' High School between 1972-1978.

She graduated in Faculty of Literature Entered the psychology in 1984.

Between the years 1985-1988 İ.Ü. she was trained in Psychological Tests at Çapa Medical School Psychology Laboratory.

She worked as a Psychologist in the Çekirdek Çocuk Yuvası in 1986-1988 and in Tepebaşı Vatan Hospital as a dialogist and applied individual psychotherapy by taking supervision during certain periods.

Between 1988-1998, she worked in GATA H.paşa Eğt. Hosp. In Psychiatry Clinic among the psychologist staff and founded the psychology laboratory and gave training to psychologists on psychology tests. She conducted individual psychotherapy and relaxation to the inpatients of GATA Haydarpaşa Training Hospital and adults in the polyclinics. In the meantime, she has collaborated on cancer groups in the presence of Dr. Murat Dokur and has started psychodrama training at the hospital with his own encouragement.

Since 1990, she has been teaching Psychodrama in Germany as a part of the Morbe Institution of Germany. After completing the Fundamentals of psychodrama in Abdulkadir Özbek Psychodrama Institute, she continued her education in upper level education group to receive “Psychodrama Therapist” and gave her thesis after completing 11 years of education period. As of receiving Psychodrama Therapist certificate, she received the right to individually apply psychodrama in individuals, families and groups in the Protective and Therapeutic Mental Health field.

In 1997-98 spring period, she started her master’s in İstanbul University, Department of Forensic Medicine, Department of Social Sciences and in April 2000, he gave a specialist thesis under the title of “Assessing the WISC-R Test Results of Children with Alopecia” on the Street.

Since 1998, she has been working in the Memory Center as Clinical Psychology Unit Manager in the fields of: Stress management, Anxiety Disorders, Panic Attack, Social Phobia, Fear. She also uses the Neuro-Bio Feedback and Rehacom techniques from the directors of “The Brain Resource Company” Dr. Kamran Fallahpour when needed. She also has EFT 1-2 Association's Practitioner Certificate (Dr Erci Erkin - from AMAMET) and uses EFT in some psychological cases. In addition, she received therapeutic Cards Training from Yehuda Shacham-Shulamit Niv (ESPCT).

She transfered to NPIstanbul in 2012 as “Psychotherapy Services Coordinator” and continues with individual and group therapies.

Since 2004, she has been the host of the PSİKOYORUM program broadcast live on Sky Türk TV every weekday for 5 years.

Since the academic year of 2012-13, she has taught in the School of Psychology of Clinical and Applied Higher Bachelor of Science “Group Processes and Applications” under Prof. Nevzat Tarhan's presidency.

She is in collaboration with Psychologist Cumhur Avcıl and Ayşegül Soysal for the studies on tenaciousness for one of the modules in New Youth Project, which is the Individual Rehabilitation Model of the Üsküdar University.

She has 3 books. First one is published is entitled “Social Phobia”, 2004. Second one is entitled “What is to be Afraid of? a collaboration with Dr. Oğuz Tan and 3. book “What is to be Concerned about?” in 2009.
