Doç. Dr. Hüseyin Ozan Tekin, 1987 yılı Malatya doğumludur. Lisans eğitimini Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Fen Edebiyat Fakültesi Fizik Bölümünde, Yüksek Lisans ve Doktora eğitimini ise Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Nükleer Fizik Ana Bilim Dalında tamamlamıştır. Lisans eğitiminde çeşitli Avrupa Birliği bursları ile 1 yıl Litvanya Siaulai University’de eğitim almıştır. Yüksek Lisans ve Doktora Eğitimi süresinde, T.C. Kalkınma Bakanlığı projeleri kapsamında Almanya Helmholtz Zentrum Dresden Rossendorf (HZDR) ve Tabriz University of Medical Sciences’da çeşitli araştırma projelerine dahil olmuştur. Dünya Sağlık Örgütü (WHO) ve Uluslararası Atom Enerjisi Kurumu (IAEA) paydaşlarından olan ve 180’e yakın ülkeyi kapsayan Dünyanın en büyük Radyoteknoloji ve Radyoloji oluşumlarından “International Society of Radiographers & Radiological Technologists (ISRRT) nin Avrupa Eğitim Direktörüdür. Türk Medikal Radyoteknoloji Derneği (TMRT-Der) Eğitim ve Bilim Komisyonu Başkanıdır. T.C. Sağlık Bakanlığı bünyesinde Medikal Radyasyon Alanlarında Kalite üzerinde birçok eğitim vermiştir. Monte Carlo simülasyon metotları ve Tıbbi Uygulamaları ile ilgili bir çok uygulamalı eğitim ve çalıştay gibi faaliyetler düzenlemiştir. Alanında 150 ye yakın bilimsel eser üretmiştir. İleri derecede İngilizce, orta derecede Litvanca, orta derecede Farsça bilmektedir. Evlidir.
